Weekly Backup
Understand how the weekly backups made available with the Virtual Private Servers function along with what data is backed up.
Different from a shared hosting account in which the information is backed up by the service provider, if you employ a virtual or a dedicated hosting server you will have to keep manual backups because this kind of a service isn't supplied by default. As great as a server might be, there is always a chance that something might go wrong. As an example, you might delete some content by accident or a script-driven app may get damaged after an update. In case you have a backup, you'll not need to worry about such issues as the content could be easily restored. Considering that it may not be really handy to do this all of the time on your end, we provide an optional backup service for every one of our server plans and we shall store a copy of your content on an individual machine to ensure that it is unharmed no matter what. With the upgrade, you'll be able to work on your web server without worrying that you may lose any data due to any reason.
Weekly Backup in Dedicated Servers
If you go for one of our dedicated servers, it shall take you only a several mouse clicks to add the backup service that we offer, so you won't need to worry about any very important data which you have on the web server. The upgrade provides fifty gb of disk space on an individual machine and goes through on a weekly basis. You'll be able to obtain it together with the dedicated web server and have backups from the very start or you can include it in an existing account via the billing Control Panel. The conventional backups are also included within our Managed Services bundle, which will make the administration of your dedicated hosting server much easier since it includes other useful functions also - OS updates, custom work from our admins, and so forth. With a copy of your data kept securely, you can develop your web sites and keep them up-to-date at all times because you will always have a backup that could be restored in a couple of minutes if anything bad happens.
